Senior, independent help for the IT projects that matter most.
Invicta IT Services works alongside corporate leadership teams to scope, resource, source and deliver technology projects, and to report on them plainly to the board. Where a project or venture needs funding, we help raise it.
What we do
A small, senior practice that clients bring in when a project needs experienced hands, an independent view or both. Each engagement is shaped around the problem rather than a standard package.
IT project delivery
Planning, governance and hands-on management to take projects from approval through roll-out to completion, including recovering projects that have stalled or drifted.
IT resourcing
Finding and placing the right people for a project, whether that means a single specialist, an interim lead or a full delivery team.
Tenders and supplier selection
Writing the requirement, running the tender and assessing responses objectively, so the right suppliers are shortlisted and the wrong ones are ruled out early.
Board reporting
Clear, independent reporting to directors on progress, risk and spend, written for decision makers rather than technical teams.
Raising finance
Helping businesses and founders prepare and present the case for new projects and ventures, and connecting them with suitable investors and funders.
Board and non-executive roles
Serving on boards as a non-executive director or adviser, bringing an independent voice on technology, commercial strategy, governance and investment to the boardroom.
How we work
We start by listening: what the business needs, what has already been tried, and what success looks like to the board.
We set out a practical plan, bring in the right people and suppliers, and agree how progress will be measured.
We stay involved until the work is done, and keep leadership informed with honest, straightforward reporting throughout.
Experience from both sides of the table.
Michael Jacobs ran Invicta IT Ltd for more than 23 years, building and leading an IT services business that supported corporate clients with their technology and people needs. Before that he held roles at Datamonitor, Butler Group and Status Group.
Alongside IT, his work has spanned investment advisory, property and sport technology, including fund management and raising capital for new ventures. That mix means he understands the delivery detail, the commercial pressures and what a board needs to hear.
Invicta IT Services is deliberately small. Clients work directly with Michael, backed by a trusted network of specialists brought in as each project requires.
